Running
Organised runs take place twice a year in Wheelton. On the first Sunday in July, Village Fete Day, the Thirsty Three race is held. On the first Sunday in November, the Round the Villages Race takes place. This is a road race routed through Wheelton, Withnell and Brinscall. Both of these races can either be run 'for fun' or compete for prizes with runners from around the area. Details on how to enter will be posted on the 'What's On' pages on this site nearer the time.
